The holidays can be stressful enough for busy parents without adding complicated cookie recipes into the mix. Enter the viral TikTok Pillsbury cookie recipe. It was so simple, fast, kid-friendly and held the attention of my toddlers. 10/10 – Would recommend.
Ingredients:
- Pillsbury Ready to Bake Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, 24 count
- Pillsbury Ready to Bake Snowman Shape Sugar Cookie Dough, 20 count pre-cut cookies *there are also other Pillsbury Christmas cookie themes like reindeer, elf and Christmas tree
- Butter or oil to grease the pan
- A cookie sheet
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a cookie sheet with a small amount of butter or oil.
- Place the precut squares of chocolate chip cookie dough on the cookie sheet placed two inches apart. Gently flatten the squares just a bit.
- Place a sugar cookie square on top of the chocolate chip cookie dough square and gently press down the edges.
- Bake the cookies according to the chocolate chip cookie dough recipe (10 to 14 minutes). We found that the longer bake time worked better as the stacked cookie dough was quite thick.
- Enjoy! The two cookies meld together perfectly for the best combination and a cute picture in the middle.
